The first ‘DO YOU REGISTER?1 is online since yesterday. This is exiting because it means that I actually followed through with the idea. It’s now an actual thing, rather than just another thought in my head to endlessly ponder.

Now for further development, I plan to stick to the exact same concept and format. Just in different locations. I hope to create a collection, an overview even, of common modern day settings. Perhaps for future reference. Maybe to watch when you need some background noise. You can figure it out for yourself.

I realize how boring this might sound to some people. Others might see an application. To me it’s mostly a fun way to capture memories. I mean, we all remember certain times and places in our lives that we look back on fondly. Or maybe not so much. I think it would be great to have more than just a memory. To have something that allows you to actually look back into time.

How cool is it when you can look out the window of your childhood bedroom again? To look at the playground your friends used to play at. See that one village you enjoyed so much from that one vacation when everything was perfect. That’s what I hope to accomplish with these registrations on a personal level.

I’ve already missed the first 28 years of my life. I’ll try not to miss the next 100 or so2.
