Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days but please allow up to 14 business days for your order to arrive. Due to many products being made ‘on demand’, it takes longer for your order to reach your destination.

Shipments happen on all days of the week except Sundays. In case of any delay, you will be notified by email.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Some products are shipped directly from the manufacturer and will have other shipping methods. Please refer to their shipping policies. We use the following manufacturers:

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Shipments to P.O. Boxes might be not possible, based on the size of the order and its packaging. It is your own responsibility to make sure you are able to receive your order. Orders to APO/FPO addresses are shipped out normally. We are not responsible for any orders not reaching APO and/or FPO addresses.

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

You will receive an email confirmation as soon as we ship your order. If available, you will be notified of a tracking number as well. If you have chosen to create an account upon ordering, you are able to view your tracking information and shipping details in your account as well.

Customs, duties, and taxes

De Lens is not responsible for any customs and/or taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)


De Lens is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier or our support team directly to file a claim. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim. Please also feel free to reach out to us at hello (at) mitchellens (dot) ink and we’ll see what we can do for you.

International Shipping Policy

De Lens is based in The Netherlands and ships worldwide. The same conditions apply for International Shipments as for Domestic Shipments, explained above.

Returns Policy

If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to us. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).

Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to us and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to yourself or your end customer (if and as applicable).

Please contact us if you wish to return a product. We will then provide you with a free return label and refund your order amount. Only products that are unworn and/or unused can be returned. If we have any reason to believe products have been worn/used prior to returning, we retain the right to not refund your order.

According to Article 16(c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for:

1. the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized;

2. sealed goods that were unsealed after delivery and thus aren’t suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons.
