I've recently become unemployed, and it's fine. I enjoy it, actually. It took a month-long trip to Mexico to work process it but I think I'm good now. Going for runs and calisthenics workouts multiple times a week is what keeps me there.

I am still writing my monthly newsletter, Dialogue, and "photography, exploration and other things" has become an ever better description over time. The weekly newsletter, Closer, has come to an end after I declared the idea fleshed out after a period of 25 weeks.

I am working on more toolkits, alongside Packless, although progress is rather slow on those. It requires a lot of thinking to get 'right' and I find myself not always in the headspace required to do such work. We keep going though.

I'm in the process of completely revamping my website and, hopefully, turning it into a forever-home for all my work. The goal remains to find the level of freedom that allows unlimited exploration, creation, and digestion at a sustainable level. My newly developed 'domains' approach, is how I bring structure in the process toward that goal. I'm developing a more general thesis on the motivations underlaying the work as well.

I still live in Amersfoort, NL, but part of me feels less at home here than I used to.

Writing Dialogue, my monthly newsletter about photography, exploration and other things, Closer, my weekly newsletter exploring photography in the age of AI, and Packless, the efficient travel photography toolkit.

Photographing for my long-term projects Covering (working title Things I Have Seen), where I walk every street of my hometown, Crossing, where I walk a city from North to South or West to East to understand what a cross-section of a city looks like, and your pets (if you want me to), as service to people that love their pets and wish to preserve the memory of their lives.

Living in Amersfoort, The Netherlands.

Working at ILGM as the Head of DXP.
